What Is Loan Extension?

Scaled Extension Fees

360° View: LEAP will enable you to scale your extension fees based on loan payment amount. For example, you may choose to offer simple interest loan customers with monthly payments between $50 and $250 the ability to skip their next payment for an extension fee of $25, but customers with payments between $250.01 and $500 the ability to skip their next payment for $50 and so on. Then you can run the projections’ report and see what you are likely to earn off your next extension offering.

Front-Side Projections

360° View: LEAP enables you to import your actual loan data and run front-side projections based on the scale of extension fees you choose. LEAP’s projection report will show you exactly how much you are likely to earn from extension fees and accrued interest based on varying levels of program participation. You can then review the results and tweak your extension fees, if need be, until you are satisfied with your potential earnings.

Custom Letters

360° View: LEAP comes with a standard set of extension letters for most any occasion. For example, there are letters for Christmas, Summer Vacation, Back-to-School, and more. You may modify any of the standard letters and can create new ones of your own.

Printing Letters

Once you have chosen your extension fees and the letter you wish to send, you are ready to print your extension letters. LEAP letters can easily be modified to print on your current form paper and to fit any type of window envelope. You can also order special LEAP paper complete with LEAP logo to help bring special attention to your loan extension offering.
