The Founders
inBusiness Services, founded by Kevin Anderson, Terry Bellenfant, and
Chris Green, in February 2001 began with a mission to help banks through
unique products, services, and personalized consulting to strengthen their
operations, increase non-interest income, and extend consumer and business
service offerings in effort to create a unique and sustainable competitive
advantage.

Kevin and Terry had been partners in a previous venture founding and
growing a bank data processing company that eventually processed for
over 30 banks. Though successful, Kevin and Terry set out in 2000 in
search of a new venture. Chris at the time was consulting with Nashville
area businesses helping with Strategy and Marketing development. The
three were introduced by a mutual acquaintance and the spark of an idea
ignited into the founding of inBusiness Services and the introduction
of its first product, Overdraft Shelter. By March of 2001 inBusiness
Services had its first bank customers.
In Early 2002, Kevin, Terry, and Chris were introduced to the programming
talents of Suzanne Johnson. At the time, Suzanne was the owner of her
own software development company and worked with inBusiness on a contract
basis to help develop inBusiness' first software solution - DDA Overdraft
Manager. With the successful introduction of DDA Overdraft Manager
to the marketplace, quickly followed by Loan Extension Application
Program (LEAP), it became apparent that inBusiness Services was undergoing
a transition into a software solutions provider for financial institutions.
So, in July of 2002, Suzanne Johnson joined the team to head up inBusiness'
newly created software development division. At this same time another
bit of good fortune, Matt Tapia, befell inBusiness Services. With Matt's
programming talents now added to our team, we began production of Loan
Past Due, inBusiness' third software solution.
We were then approached by one of our bank partners and asked to help
in their search for a Customer Relationship Management software
solution that would help them better manage referrals and goals &
incentives. We found CRM solutions developed for businesses being marketed
to financial institutions, kind of like forcing a square peg into a round
hole, and at prices not affordable to the average community bank. We knew
we had the tools and industry knowledge to build what our partner wanted
and so, after more research and development meetings discussing project
scope, we began development on a CRM solution. We recruited other banks
to participate in the process to ensure our creation would meet a diverse
group of users, held monthly meetings where we openly explored everything
a good CRM should do, and line by line wrote the code building the best
CRM solution we could. It wasn't until we deployed the solution and began
sharing it with others in the industry that we truly realized our solution
was so powerful and unique.
At first we weren't sure what to call our new creation. We knew the acronym
CRM was widely misunderstood and wanted the name of our solution to reflect
its ease of use and power. Then, towards the end of 2003, we finally found
our inspiration in a comment made by one of our new users. "We love
the software, especially the three sixty degree view of our customer,"
he said. Thanks Sam. We couldn't have said it better. We had found our
name -- 360º View.
In 2004, we grew like kudzu unleashed as the news spread about 360º
View. We added additional programmers and operational staff, moved into
new office space overlooking the Cumberland River, and traveled more than
ever as we spread the word and made new friends. We now serve more than
60 financial institutions in 25 states and our mission is more defined
-- "Develop, Deliver, and Support simple to use software solutions
for financial institutions to increase operational efficiency and income."
Still behind it all is our promise to be true to our word, to value handshakes
more than contracts, to be friends and confidants to our partners, and
grow an extended family as well as a business.
